Aware in line for duo of awards
We are delighted to announce that Aware Communications is up for two prestigious awards recognising young business excellence.
We are shortlisted in the ‘Young Business of the Year’ category at the Lancashire Business View Young ‘Uns Awards 2015, and MD, Amelia Worrall, is in the finals of the ‘Young ‘Un in Creative and Digital’ category.
The ceremony celebrates Lancashire’s young, entrepreneurial, professional talent and rewards those aged 36 and under who are setting the pace in business. The awards will also honour a young business up to three years old. The independent business experts and sponsors who form the judging panels said; "We were impressed with the calibre of the entries. It is apparent that there is a depth of new talent in Lancashire which we are delighted with, however in turn this made our decision very difficult, so congratulations on making it through to the final stage."
Organised by Lancashire Business View Magazine, the ceremony will take place on Friday 12 June at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool and will see around 300 of the county's young professionals in attendance.
Commenting on the shortlisting news, Amelia, 30, said: "It is such an honour to be shortlisted for these regional awards and huge thanks go out to everyone who has made this possible; our wonderful clients (old and new) and everyone who has supported the business to date. Being announced as finalists in not one but two categories is excellent recognition that we are extremely proud of. This exposure will help to raise the profile of Aware Communications as a thriving young business and assist us with our recruitment and expansion plans.”
